Steel, aluminum, asbestos roofing screw, and resin

This work is inspired by passages from Isaac Asimov’s book “The Universe” and by the cracks in the asbestos tiles of the shack where I grew up, reaching toward the sky. It evokes stellar explosions and fragments of dreams made material — forms that tension lightness and density, suggesting encounters between the real and the imagined, between a scientific sky and a fabulated one. Its cartographies point toward possible paths of access to memories in constant transformation.
